The current Government is cutting $356 million from pathology and have refused to reverse it.
From 1 July, cuts to important Vitamin B12 and urine tests will hit hip pockets. These cuts will most significantly impact women, who make up 66% of people accessing
these tests.
Politicians arenʼt listening. The harsh reality is that, without full and fair funding, pathology providers will be forced to make some tough decisions.
